SPEECH PATHOLOGY ONLINE

Child with raised hands in excitement

Welcome To Sprightly Online

We help children and teenagers (under 18) with their speech and communication.

Our Speech Pathologist and Therapy Assistant (AHA) work online, so we can support families who live in country or remote parts of South Australia. We also help families in metropolitan Adelaide who want to use online services.

From 2025, our main focus is online sessions (also called telepractice). This helps us reach more families in rural and regional areas. We are now accepting new clients for online sessions.

All sessions are done through the video platform Zoom.

We work with clients online in places such as the Limestone Coast, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide Hills, Riverland, Clare Valley, Eyre Peninsula, Fleurieu Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Far North, Murraylands, and the Mid North.

We’re based in Southern Adelaide and still visit a few long-term clients for face-to-face sessions at home, kindy, or school.

SPRIGHTLY VALUES

  • Aiming for excellence and keeping high standards

OUR STAFF

Melinda Hull, owner, Certified Practising Speech Pathologist.

Melinda is a qualified Speech Pathologist with over 20 years of experience. She loves helping children with speech sound problems, especially those with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). She is also very interested in telepractice — using video calls to give therapy to families who live far away.

As a busy professional and a mum of three, Melinda understands how important it is to make therapy friendly and easy for families.

Since 2000, Melinda has worked in many places, including:

  • Early intervention for children aged 0–5, alongside other health professionals like Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Psychologists.
  • Private clinics and schools, helping children with speech, language, and learning difficulties.
  • Hospital - 1 year working with adults.
  • Supervising and mentoring other Speech Pathologists, students, and therapy assistants.
Extra Training

Melinda has completed extra training in:

  • Complex speech sound disorders, including special therapy methods like DTTC, ReST, and Nuffield for CAS and speech motor delay. Phonological therapy (helping children hear and use speech sounds correctly)

  • Story Champs (language learning programs)
  • DIR Floortime (a therapy approach that builds communication through play and connection)
  • Developmental Language Disorder (DLD)
